*Another thing that you should look into and report back to me is.when you plug in your iPhone, how does your computer respond exactly?Ģ.Pop-up with a window that has your iPhone in there as a memory device, showing how much memory you have? (should say something like Apple iPhone: Internal Memory. Upon boot, your computer should find your iPhone and install it.this is when my problem was not there anymore □ w/ iPhone still plugged in, re-start your computer. I right-clicked this and then clicked un-install. Here is where i found something in the list that had "iPhone" something, not sure exactly what it said but if it has anything iPhone in there, thats it (*i hope 8P ) Clicked on the "+" for "Universal Serial Bus Controller". So from there I figured I look into the USB ports and mess around haha (I still had the problem, but just trying to list everything lol) Then I let it re-install itself upon boot. Then restarted my computer with iPhone still plugged-in. Then i clicked on portable devices and i clicked un-install. (not 3G or 3GS :[ ), and got this error over and over when I Plug-in iPhone, Un-Plug iPhone, as well as when i Open "My Computer" directory:Īdditional Information 2: ea6f5fe8924aaa756324d57f87834160Īdditional Information 4: ea6f5fe8924aaa756324d57f87834160 How exactly? Im not sure lol.īut ill try and just tell you everything that I did □īTW i have Vista 32-Bit Home Premium, Service Pack 2, running the newest iTunes, newest iPhone firmware for my iPhone 1st gen. I actually had this problem too for the last, ummm, 4 months atleast. Ps I have the latest iPhone firmware too. My pc has had a fresh Vista 32 bit build too. I've restored the iPhone, reinstalled iTunes, turned off my firewall and ensured no other USB devices are plugged in too. Ok I'm in need of some advice: my iPhone 3Gs crashes windows explorer the very second I plug the USB cable into my PC.
